Augustiner Keller is a beer garden, but not one more of the list. Its Bavarian facade and also essence. The garden is huge and it’s completely worth starting early and staying there until you cannot drink anymore. But don’t do that, don’t get to that point.

 

Other beer garden worth recommending is the one in the Chinesische Turm, which is also called the English garden. They open in summer and it is a perfect option for the sunny days. They open from 11 a.m. till 10 p.m.

Neighborhoods That Define Things to Do at Night in Munich Germany

Glockenbachviertel and Gartnerplatz are the two neighborhoods that pop first into mind when thinking of nightlife.  They actually are the first option to check out if you’re new in town.  People that are very young, alternative,  locals,  people from Asia, East Europe, South America, North America, Australia, everyone is here. It’s perfect all year long to warm up.And also a great place to have a late night snack afterward. Things like kebabs, Wurtz or hammburger. Basically anything if you get your after mode on.

Electronic Music and Clubbing

Bahnwärter Thiel has an artistic essence but you can actually have a  super electronic party here. It is oriented for the younger crowd and the program is always changing, always bringing up avant gard to the people. So don’t have any doubt, you’ll find something weird n’ nice happening no matter the night you decide to come.

Other place completely worth attending is the famous P1. A club for the posh side of Munich. A real icon of the golden party era that has the same energy and high standards. It is difficult to get in, but 100% recommendable and memorable. Don’t expect anything affordable inside. Best option is to make a pub crawl München where they are several clubs (like this) in the ruta and is a nice way to meet lots of internationals.

Regarding to genres: electro, hip-hop, rock, you can find almost anything you want in the city. Your whole potify playlist is in town, all year long. Some places live, some places a Dj will bring the energy into live.

If you’re into cocktails or into the rooftop alternative, you can find them without any issue, especially in the summer. Places you should remember: Schumann. It is a gorgeously decorated terrace, a beautiful place to have completely Instagramable cocktails.

Flushing Meadows is another one. It sounds British, but it’s something from Munich. It’s a terrace where you can see the skyline just beneath your piña colada.

Culture in Munich After Dark

If you’re into other genres, for example, jazz, you should check out Unterfahrt, which has a daily program and their tickets sell fast because it’s not that of a big place and the atmosphere is actually as if Miles Davis was there every night.
